Nurse Talk speaks with RN Carole Rodgers. Carole works at the Alameda County Medical Center and has recently been active in the fight to keep San Leandro Hospital open. The hospital is now run by Sutter Health Group who is trying to close it. Closing facilities that serve the "underserved" is a pattern that is practiced by Sutter. Carole was a postgraduate fellow at George Washington University; she has a Masters Degree in Public Health and a B.S. in Community Health.
